Harper's
Tavern and Grille,
Winter Park
Also
completed is the
new Harpers Tavern
& Grille in
Winter Park that
has been a landmark
dating back to
the early 1900’s.
The Harper family
decided that it
should be rebuilt,
after a fire destroyed
the building.
Tom Harper selected
our company to
participate in
this rewarding
project. He retained
the Winter Park
architectural
firm of Harter-Adams
and principal
Bill Harter to
prepare the drawings
using photographs,
a scale model
made before the
building burned
and a lot of Tom
Harper’s
memories. The
City of Winter
Park cooperated
in many ways to
make it possible
to recreate this
landmark building.
Once again this
historic building
has returned to
it’s place
of prominence
in Winter Park,
Florida.
